If a Facebook Reel does not work, paste the exact public Reel URL again and check that it opens without account-specific access.
On Facebook, the same video can be shared in several URL formats. A feed or profile URL is not always enough to recover the public media file.
Which Facebook links to avoid
Profile pages, generic feeds and some `watch` URLs do not always target the exact Reel you want to download.
- Use the Reel URL itself.
- The content must be public.
- Friends-only posts will not be supported.
How to confirm that the Reel is public
Open the link in a private browser window. If the Reel disappears or requires an account, the download cannot succeed.
- Test the URL while logged out of Facebook.
- Copy the link again from the Reel share action.
